# system.kanoa.cmms.updateProcedureStepCheckEvent(checkEventInfo, userId)

Updates an existing procedure step check event the recorded result of a single check performed during a work order's execution of a procedure step, such as a logged value, pass/fail status, or comment.
Call this when a technician's recorded reading needs correcting after the fact, or when a supervisor amends the status or comment on a completed check.
All keys in `checkEventInfo` are required, and the function overwrites the identified check event's fields with the values supplied, recording `userId` for audit purposes.
