# Adjust Stock and Find Reorders

:::action[Correct stock after a count]

A cycle count finds only 2 coolant filters on the shelf where Kanoa expects 12.

1. Expand `CF-FLT-COOL10` and add a part transaction: Parts Room, quantity `10`, type `Negative adjustment`, notes `Cycle count`.
2. Review the transaction history: the receipt and the adjustment are both there, with who recorded each one.

:::

Corrections are always new transactions, never edits, so the history explains every change to the balance.

:::action[Review stock and find reorders]

1. Expand each part and review its stock position: **On Hand**, **Reserved**, **On Order**, **Available**, and its policy limits.
2. `CF-FLT-COOL10` now has 2 on hand, below its reorder point of 6 and its minimum of 4. Its reorder quantity says to order 12.
3. In the Script Console, list every stocked part below its reorder point in the Parts Room:

   ```python
   storeroomId = system.kanoa.utilities.getFieldValue('assetId',
       system.kanoa.asset.getAssets({'assetPath': 'CoreForge\\Philadelphia\\Storage\\Parts Room'}))
   data = system.kanoa.inventory.getPartInventoryStock({
       'inventoryAssetId': storeroomId,
       'isStocked': True,
       'isBelowReorderThreshold': True,
   })
   for row in system.kanoa.utilities.convertDatasetToJSON(data):
       print row['partNumber'], row['quantityOnHand']
   ```

:::

**Available** is on hand minus reserved: stock already promised to open work orders isn't really free to use.
