# Response and Reliability KPIs

:::action[Review the KPIs]

1. Navigate to **Maintenance → Maintenance Analytics** and select today and the `Machining` area.
2. Find **MTTA** and **MTTR**. Check them against your coolant leak work order: MTTA runs from when it was created to when it was assigned, MTTR from when it was started to when it was completed.
3. Look at **MTBF by Asset** and find Machine 1.
4. Find **Schedule Compliance**: the share of completed work orders that were finished on or before their due date.

:::

```text
Schedule Compliance (%) = Work Orders Completed On Time / Total Work Orders Completed
```

How to read them:

- **High MTTA:** work sits before anyone picks it up. Look at dispatching.
- **High MTTR:** jobs take long once started. Look for complex repairs, missing parts, or unclear procedures.
- **Low MTBF on one asset:** it fails often. It's a candidate for more preventive maintenance or replacement.
- **Falling schedule compliance:** planned work is slipping, which usually comes before more breakdowns.

The **MTTR / MTTA Trend** chart shows whether these are improving over time, and **Workflow Churn** shows work orders bouncing between statuses, for example Open → In Progress → Open, which points to rework, interruptions or poor planning.
