# Complete and Review a Check

The Cleanliness Check has no automatic trigger, so you start it yourself. Each time a check sheet is started, Kanoa creates a **check event**: one filled-in copy of the form.

:::action[Complete a Cleanliness Check]

1. Navigate to **Quality → Schedule → Active Checks** and clear any selected asset. This check isn't tied to an asset, and a selected asset filters the list.
2. Click **Add Check**, choose `Cleanliness Check`, and click **Add**.
3. Double-click the new check to open it.
4. Answer all four areas. Choose `Over-Cluttered` or `Dirty` for at least one area so you can see how a failure behaves, and enter a comment when asked.
5. Click **Submit**.

:::

Each answer is saved the moment you select it. Submit doesn't save the answers; it completes the check and changes its status.

:::action[Review the check in the Check Table]

1. Navigate to **Quality → Schedule → Check Table**.
2. Set the date range to include today and find the `Cleanliness Check` row.
3. Review its status, timing, trigger and **Check OK** column. Because you chose a Fail response, Check OK shows not OK.
4. Open the row to see each answer and comment as submitted.

:::

The Check Table shows one check at a time. To look at many checks together, use **Check Summary** for compliance and **Check Details** for values and SPC. You'll use both in later chapters.
