Offline Lab Inspection

Samples from the finishing line go to a lab analyzer at the QA Station. The technician captures the analyzer's readings, Kanoa calculates derived values, the technician records the analyzer's calibration date, and a supervisor signs the check off. If the sample fails, Kanoa issues a second check that asks for a photo of the failed sample.

That takes two check sheets:

Check sheetRole
QA Station Inspection FailureHelper sheet: captures an inspection image when the main check fails
Offline Lab InspectionMain sheet: analyzer data, calculations, calibration and sign-off

The helper is built first, because the main sheet has to point to it.

In this section you will:

  • Create the QA Station asset, its analyzer tags, and the helper check sheet.
  • Build the main sheet with trigger, calculated and persistent items, groups and sign-off.
  • Run it, revise it to add a tolerance, and watch a failure issue the follow-up check.
