Receiving Inspection

When a new lot of raw material or coating ingredient arrives at CoreForge, the warehouse verifies the supplier's paperwork before the material goes to production.

The Receiving Inspection check sheet is still started by hand and needs no sign-off, but it now requires an item, so every inspection is tied to the material that was received. Its check items are typed fields rather than pass/fail buttons: a supplier pick list, a validated lot number, a date and an optional photo.

In this section you will:

  • Organize check sheets into folders and require an item from the raw material class.
  • Build check items with different data types, instructions and regex validation.
  • Complete the check on desktop and on the Kanoa Mobile app.
  • Revise a released check sheet, and correct a check that has already been approved.
