Lot Quantity Bar Chart

The Lot Quantity Bar Chart widget shows how much material is currently in an asset or area. An area includes everything in its child assets. Its data comes from getLotQty.

Build an inventory dashboard
  1. Create a dashboard with the Asset Selector, Date Range Selector and Lot Quantity Bar Chart widgets, and save it.
  2. Select CoreForge\Philadelphia\Storage. The chart includes Receiving, Bins and Shipping.
  3. Group by Item to see the raw materials you received.
  4. Group by Asset, then run a transfer and watch the quantity move.
  5. Select CoreForge\Philadelphia and group by State to see OK and Scrap quantities. Group by State Reason once you've configured reasons in the Lot States elective.

The chart is a picture of current inventory. It can't tell you what went into a lot; use Lot Manager and the trace views for that.

Reference Materials: Adding Widgets to a Dashboard

Adding Widgets to a Dashboard

In the right hand pane, select and drag an area to add a widget. We provide some widgets out of the box for you. Custom widgets can also be added.

We have provided a couple of selector widgets, Asset Selector and Date Range Selector. These are special widgets in that there are no user settable parameters and are only used to effect the behavior of other widgets. With these widgets, a user can select a specific asset and date range to be applied to all other widgets on that dashboard, achieved through the use of custom session properties.
