Configure the Lot Flow
Configure only what the manual flow needs. Asset and item rules, lot states and routes come later, in the electives.
-
Navigate to Configuration → Ops → Lot Configuration.
-
Give the existing operations colors:
Receive#28A745,Transfer#0069AD,Scrap#C62828. -
Create these operations, all enabled:
Operation Color Inputs Outputs Machine#00838FYes Yes Blend#5C6BC0Yes Yes Coat#7B5E57Yes Yes Inspect#F9A825Yes Yes Pack#6A1B9AYes Yes Ship#455A64Yes No
Ship is an endpoint: it takes material out of inventory without creating a new lot. The shipped lot keeps its history, so it can still be traced.
Serialization definitions generate lot names. Each one has a name, a prefix, and a number of digits, so RAL with 7 digits gives RAL0000001, RAL0000002 and so on. One definition per stage makes a lot's name tell you what it is.
Navigate to Configuration → Ops → Serialization and create these, each with 7 digits:
| Name | Prefix |
|---|---|
Raw Aluminum | RAL |
Raw Blending Ingredients | RBI |
WIP Machined Parts | WMP |
WIP Coatings/Blends | WBL |
WIP Coated Parts | WCP |
Finished Goods Packages | FGP |
Use these names exactly; the custom receiving screen in the electives looks them up by name.
- Navigate to Configuration → Ops → Assets.
- Under
CoreForge\Philadelphia, add an area namedStorage. - Under
Storage, add the areasReceiving,BinsandShipping.
lot-operations.json: the finished lot operations, including the asset and item rules you'll add in the electives, to compare with your build.
